Very tough long lasting line

We run about 75 Fairplay set ups for our middle school here in the high desert of California. I go through about a case of this line a year. It holds up to a lot of casting practice before it cracks. Fishes ok, better than anything even close to it's price point. For an intro or a practice line, this one stands up.

FairPlay Fly Lines

Bought 6 7-wt fly lines for a series of kids clinics in N FL. Lines are shorter than conventional lines, maybe 65 ft. But, perfect for these clinics. And the kids caught fish β€” a bonus.

Cant be beat for the price.

I fish these in areas where I beat my lines. Combat fishing. One has even been run over a few times when I had to drop it from unexpected cars or when I hook brush across a road. Cast great and take a beating.

Tiger Trout Adirondacks

For the money, I love this line. I use it mostly on my lighter rods hiking in the Adirondacks searching for Brook trout. It loads well, and gets the job done without breaking the bank!

Cortland leads

Will have my reels rigged by next spring and will be using the 444 pink legend as my benchmark. Already looking forward to my first sessions.

Needs a spool

Line works well just was a tangled mess when I started putting it on the reel the first time. If you dress the line monthly it will last forever

Great for our family

My teenagers just picked up the sport of fly fishing. Great fly lines!
