Cortland's C12™ Blue Super Braid was designed for serious offshore anglers who require premium hollow-core backing at an affordable price. C12™ is braided in our Cortland, New York, manufacturing facility from 12 individual gel-spun polyethylene fibers. C12™ is the easiest-splicing, longest-lasting 12-strand hollow-core option on the market. C12™ was designed to minimize diameter for maximum capacity while exceeding competitors' break strength across the board. C12™ features proprietary FiberTech® super braid protection, a unique treatment, not a coating, that penetrates the weave and bonds with the individual gel-spun fibers to stiffen and improve the handling characteristics of the line. ColorLast technology provides long-lasting color that resists fading and bleeding.

C12™ is braided with Cortland's spliceable hollow-core construction for fast and reliable splicing of end loops for wind-on leaders or direct splices for top shots of monofilament or fluorocarbon.
