ColorLast provides permanent white color, while FiberTech® reduces friction in the guides and increases the line’s durability. Flat /oval in cross section so it is less likely to dig into itself under extreme tension when fighting big fish
Yes it costs a lot compared to Dacron but it is not the weak link in your fly fishing outfit
Used this braid all season. No issues.
It's hard getting used to needing the use of threading needles, but it's actually much faster and no break outs. The weave is much looser than other 16 carrier brands, and also much softer. I usually used a wire to open and then shuffle leader material in before making a serve to hold it in place. I will be using it on my next 8 day fishing so I will have hands on. Looks like it will be great
Soft, strong and easy to work with. The best hollow core on the market. I will not buy any braid other than Cortland C-16.
Just spooled up my salmon reel and a few of my bass rods. This line is so smooth and it casts a mile. Heading to alaska to put it through the paces and am excited!

I absolutely love the c16 200 lb hollow core braid. Since transitioning to Cortland about a year ago, I refuse to use anything else. Iv caught countless large fish using it and never once had a line failure. The quality is simply unmatched.
