Poppers are irresistible to smaller bass and panfish. They imitate a variety of potential food sources including grasshoppers, frogs and wounded baitfish. Larger sizes for bass and predatory fish such as pike and musky. Fished on the surface with short strong strips to make the fly chug. Then let it sit for a few moments before moving again.
