The Cortland Fairplay Preloaded Reel is a lightweight 5/6-weight fly reel built for straightforward freshwater fishing. It comes preloaded with 65 feet of weight-forward floating fly line and 150 feet of backing, eliminating two setup steps before getting on the water.
A large-arbor spool provides practical line handling, while the disc drag offers dependable resistance for trout, panfish and other smaller freshwater species. Graphite construction keeps the reel lightweight, and the retrieve can be configured for either left- or right-hand use.
