Cortland Competition Type 7 Level Sink

The Competition type 7 level sink feels a bit unstable (jerky) during the false casting and high skills are required to make the line work properly. However, it is no problem to reach a long distance when you have learned to handle the line. Since most of the weight is at the front in the body, it is possible to shoot already at the 24 feet hang mark, but the best efficiency is of course obtained if you have the entire belly outside the rod tip. The size 7/8 feels too heavy for a # 7 rod. To get maximum speed on the fly line, an # 8 rod is recommended.
